GSA – Dining
Duties Include: Assist and courteously serve customers; prep, serve, and cook assorted foods using various equipment and utensils; assist in keeping kitchen and service areas clean and sanitized; follow all safety and food handling guidelines; report to full-time employees as assigned; attend and complete employee trainings and meetings as scheduled; become familiar with and follow all CMU Campus Dining policies and standards; complete other duties as assigned.
Skills Desired: Must be able to lift 25 lbs.; must be able to handle temperature changes including putting stock away in coolers and/or freezers; must be able to stand and walk for extended periods; must be able to push loaded stock carts; prior food service and/or customer service experience.
Schedule: Days and hours vary by location.

WORK-STUDY – Engineering and Technology – seeks a Student Assistant
Duties include: Answer Phones, help faculty and students that come to office, and assist with updates on word and excel files.
Skills desired: Communicate well, work independently, experience with Microsoft.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1:00-5:00 p.m. with possibility of 8-5 p.m. with lunch.

GSA - Medicine - seeks a Research Assistant
Duties include: Wastewater sample collection and pick-up on campus and
at regional sites across Central Michigan. The Assistant can drive their own
car or a university-owned vehicle to obtain samples and deliver them to a CMU
lab in the Biosciences Building. Samples obtained weekly. The Assistant may
also help prepare reagents and run assays in the lab time permitting.
Skills desired: Valid driver's license and interest in public health
and biology.
Schedule: 20
hrs/wk, days and times vary. Position continues through Summer and into
the Academic Year 24-25.

GSA and WORK-STUDY - Parking
Services - seeks a Student Assistant
Duties include: Issue
parking violations to motor vehicles violating university ordinance(s); issue
violations by foot and vehicle patrol; work special events including but not
limited to basketball and football games, and commencement; communicate
effectively with headquarters via radio; and other duties as assigned.
Skills desired: Candidates are punctual, reliable, able to work
under minimal supervision, and possess good communication skills.
Schedule: Flexible during office hours, Mon - Fri, 8-5 p.m., with
additional night and weekend hours possible for special events.
