Why did you choose CMU: As a medical student, I observed the residents be respected and valued as members of the patient care team. Attendings were never harsh but always willing to provide feedback and encouragement. Even as an M3, I was amazed at how included I was in patient care. Psychiatry can be mentally and emotionally taxing, so it was important to me to find a program that would allow me to feel comfortable making mistakes while also challenging me to push my limits.
Personal Hobbies/Interests: Lifting weights at Coops Iron Works in Saginaw, playing basketball at the Saginaw YMCA, enjoying Taco Tuesday at Rio Luna on Bay Road, and losing at trivia at Baynes Apple Orchard in Freeland.
