Biography
Before bringing his expertise to CMU, Kurt built a career as a producer and manager in television and independent video production. Along the way, he picked up some shiny hardware—including a Gold Marcom Award for Branded Content, a Platinum Aurora ‘Best of Show,’ a Gold Aurora, a Videographer Award of Excellence, and seven (yes, seven!) Bronze Telly Awards.
Outside the studio, Kurt trades cameras for Kung Fu—he’s a dedicated practitioner of Praying Mantis Kung Fu and Wu Tai Chi, proving that great storytelling requires both precision and flow.
