Social Media Buttons
For use in the left-hand sidebar only.
Social Media Buttons are an excellent way to engage your audience outside of the traditional web experience. The Social Media Buttons allow the user to interact with you on your social media sites.
If you are interested in creating links to share the current page on social media (for example: share this page as a Facebook post) you will need to use the ShareOnSocialLinks widget instead of the Social Media Buttons widget.

Widget standards
A layout is NOT needed for this widget.
Do:
- Use this widget to add social media buttons that create links for users to follow your organization such as including a link to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Use only one widget per page.
Do NOT:
- Put this widget in any containers other than the designated one in the left sidebar under the page navigation.
Written instructions
1. Select the Social Media Buttons widget and drop it into the Main Content area.
2. Click "Create content".
3. Template: Card.
4. Heading: Enter heading text. (Recommend max 75 characters)
5. Facebook: Add in the ADA text.
6. Facebook: Add the link to the college's account in the External URL field.
7. Twitter: Add in the ADA text.
8. Twitter: Add the link to the college's account in the External URL field.
9. Youtube: Add in the ADA text.
10. Youtube: Add the link to the college's account in the External URL field.
11. Instagram: Add in the ADA text.
12. Instagram: Add the link to the college's account in the External URL field.
13. LinkedIn: Add in the ADA text.
14. LinkedIn: Add the link to the college's account in the External URL field.
Tip: If you do not have a platform that is listed, skip it.
15. Click "Save".
Save and send
- If you'd like to continue working on this page, but need to save your progress, click Save as Draft.
- If you're finished making changes to the page, and the page is ready for review, click Send for Approval.
