Our psychology degree
A psychology degree teaches you the key concepts of why people act the way they do — and helps you understand your own motivations, too. You’ll get to do hands-on research in any of our five active labs, studying areas like clinical psychology, behavior analysis, neuroscience, personality, cognition and industrial-organizational psychology.

Choosing a psychology degree
As you earn your psychology degree, you can choose from three concentrations: business psychology, general psychology or mental health psychology, which allows you to tailor your program to your interests. We also offer classes both on campus and online, so you have flexible options to complete your program.
Whether you’re interested in studying the thoughts around marketing and advertising or focused on helping people live happier lives, our psychology degree can help you start a career with practical experience earned through hands-on learning.
You’ll be able to network with students in your field by joining Psi Chi, the national psychology honor society, and attend conferences like the Midwest Psychology Association conference in Chicago.
