Help Desk Information and Computer Setup for New Faculty

Your department will facilitate your office setup and technology provisions.  If you need assistance setting up a computer in a campus office, please contact technology services for your college.

The Office of Information Technology Help Desk is CMU’s main provider of technology support to the students, faculty, and staff university-wide. Whenever you have a computer/telecommunications-related problem, contact the CMU Help Desk 989-774-3662. Walk-in service is also available in Park Library.  Check the OIT website for hours of service.

CMU’s Office of Information Technology has a robust set of self-serve resources on a variety of technology-related topics. The  CMU Knowledge Base allows for a searchable technology list of resources for on-demand service.
