Sexual and Gender-Based Misconduct Resources

Numerous on-campus and local community resources that specialize in counseling and survivor advocacy are available. While the contact information for a resource may be listed in one area, many agencies provide assistance in multiple areas.

Please note: Confidential resources are those agencies or entities that are not required, either by law or by CMU policy, to report an allegation of sexual or gender-based misconduct to CMU’s Title IX Coordinator.

Confidential resources also provide confidential counseling and/or support services to people impacted by alleged acts of sexual or gender-based misconduct, whether or not that person chooses to file a complaint with CMU or file criminal charges. There is no expectation that concerns or allegations brought to a confidential resource will be reported to CMU’s Title IX Coordinator.
