Financial Services and Reporting

The Accounting Services Department is responsible for Central Michigan University's financial reporting, oversight of journal entries, grant and contract awarded funds, general ledger account and cost center creation, and reconciliation of university bank accounts.

Contracting and Purchasing Services oversees Central Michigan's fixed assets, mailroom, moving and delivery services, receiving, surplus sales and auctions, travel services, the university store and ordering supplies.

Merchant Services provides information, resources and guidance about accepting payments via credit cards.

Payable Accounting reviews and processes vendor invoices including non-employee reimbursements for payment in accordance with established university policies and procedures.

The Payroll Office provides many services to the CMU campus community, including time entry and processing payroll maintaining leave accrual balances, processing W-2s and employee travel and expense reimbursements.

Risk Management, Environmental Health and Safety combine the technical disciplines of environmental health and safety with risk control and risk transfer.

Student Account Services and University Billing offer important information and services, including OneCentral, authorized payers, and more about billing, payment methods, payment plans, and student account questions.

Travel and Business Expenses offers guidance and support to employees and departments who travel, entertain and make purchases on behalf of Central Michigan University.

The Treasury and Investments department provides financial services and information to Central Michigan University.
